The impressive fortress

The city of Schaffhausen boasts a long history, stretching from Roman conquests to the present day. Bergkirche St. Moritz

Burg Hohenklingen

Since the year 1200, Hohenklingen Castle has stood proudly above the medieval town of Stein am Rhein. Kesslerloch

The Kesslerloch in Thayngen takes you on a journey into the past. Once a gathering place for hunting groups, it is now a popular excursion destination. This prehistoric cave offers a fascinating glimpse into the lives of our ancestors, allowing visitors to experience history up close.

Römerbad Schleitheim

About one kilometer west of Schleitheim lay the Roman-era small town of "Iuliomagus." Even today, the impressive ruins of the former baths recall the bathing culture of its ancient inhabitants. Discovered in 1974, the imposing bathing complex is now preserved within a modern museum building and is open to the public.

The Swiss Transit Lab in Schaffhausen (STL) in the Schaffhausen application region is about to take a big step in the development of automated mobility in public transport. Starting at the end of April, the new STL Line 13 will connect the train station of the city of Schaffhausen with the newly developed Stahlgiesserei district. This will be the first time in Switzerland that an automated vehicle with dual-mode technology will be in operation.
