The Economic Promotion Canton of Schaffhausen is the central point of coordination between business, politics, and administration in the Canton of Schaffhausen.

We promote the Canton of Schaffhausen as a location for doing business, working, and living, and strive to grow its attractiveness and competitiveness nationally and internationally.

Our mission

As the Economic Promotion of the Canton of Schaffhausen, we develop and promote Schaffhausen as a business location on behalf of the cantonal government. In addition to supporting international firm relocations, we advise local companies on expansion and investment projects, and launch initiatives to strengthen the regional economy. Our tasks also include marketing the Canton of Schaffhausen as a place to work and live.

Generis AG manages the Economic Promotion Canton of Schaffhausen under a mandate from the Canton of Schaffhausen. The Canton is a founding member of the Greater Zurich Area (GZA), the location marketing organization for the greater Zurich economic region.
