Your journey begins with a valid ticket, which you can buy at ticket counters, ticket machines or online at sbb.ch or via the SBB app for iOS or Android. In Switzerland, you can also reach your destination across different lines and transport service providers with just one ticket. Popular services such as GA and Half-Fare travelcards and Day Passes cover practically the entire public transport network in Switzerland and simplify travel. Young people and senior citizens benefit from reduced prices on public transport - in some cases also on mountain railroads.
