Combining the dynamism of a swarm region with the familiarity of a nest region. This is the Schaffhausen of tomorrow. Around 200 Schaffhausen residents have modeled the 2030 development strategy. "next." is now making the results publicly accessible. Over 60 projects with possible measures show the way forward. Everyone is needed to make the Schaffhausen of tomorrow a reality. Let's tackle it together!

What will the Schaffhausen of tomorrow look like? This question was at the beginning of the future process of the "Development Strategy 2030", which the Government Council of the Canton of Schaffhausen initiated in summer 2020 with the Schaffhausen business community. 200 representatives from business, politics and society worked together in the participatory process of the development strategy to find solutions for the challenges of tomorrow. 60 projects and measures outline the path that Schaffhausen must take as a location for a successful future in the coming years. A future in which the existing potential of the region is exploited and in which the characteristics of the swarm region are combined with the nest region of Schaffhausen: Boldly creating something new without losing its roots. Schaffhausen will become a center of attraction and at the same time a home port for pioneers, entrepreneurs and committed people with a can-do mentality.

Next. gets to the point

next. stands for the successful Schaffhausen of tomorrow, for the implementation of project ideas and measures. The initiative is summarized from the development strategy with the project ideas on next.sh.ch (only in German). The more than 60 projects can be discovered, evaluated and implemented online.

Implement together now

For Schaffhausen to remain successful as a location and become a dynamic flocking and nesting region, our joint efforts are needed. Schaffhausen residents are called upon to get involved and come up with project ideas. From now on at next.sh.ch (only in German).
