Diploma recognition

Your professional success starts here and now, because in Switzerland, recognition of your diploma is the key to your career horizons.

Your diploma in Switzerland

Confirmation of Level

Vocational Qualification for Adults

You have the option of having your professional diploma validated in Switzerland. This validation confirms that your diploma or degree has the same value as a Swiss diploma or degree. If you want to work in a regulated profession (e.g. nurse, teacher, etc.), validation is mandatory in order to be able to carry out the professional activity. Different organizations are responsible for carrying out the validation depending on the profession or training.

It is not mandatory to have diplomas and training courses recognized for all professions in Switzerland. Nevertheless, it can be useful to obtain a level confirmation to demonstrate the value of your diploma in the Swiss education system and thus make it easier to find the ideal position. This enables companies to better assess whether you are suitable for the position in question.

Despite extensive professional experience, you may not have a professional qualification recognized in Switzerland. In this case, you have the opportunity to expand your professional career by obtaining a Swiss qualification in basic or higher vocational training. This step will undoubtedly open new doors and prospects on the job market.

The procedure for obtaining a professional qualification takes into account your individual previous education, professional experience and age. It enables you to convert your existing competencies and skills into a recognized professional qualification.
