Higher, faster, women

In the Area for Makers, female career success is being reimagined. With the "Female Makers" initiative, we aim to empower women on their path to leadership positions. Through a unique, self-organized mentoring program and exclusive networking events, a strong network for female innovators is being built.

Shaping careers. Creating the future.

Highly qualified, ambitious – yet still underrepresented in leadership positions. Women have the potential to shape companies and teams in a lasting way. However, structural barriers, part-time work, or returning to the workforce after a family break often slow down the next career step. This is exactly where the "Female Makers" initiative comes in. Through its mentoring program and a strong network of female innovators, the initiative supports women on their career path.

About the "Female Makers Initiative"

The "Female Makers" are an integral part of Schaffhausen’s strategic positioning as an attractive business and residential location. The initiative helps harness the potential of highly skilled professionals more effectively and strengthens the region’s economic development. Through networking, collaboration, and the energy of aspiring female innovators, the initiative radiates far beyond the region.
