Viso.ai shakes up the tech industry

December 14, 2023

With viso.ai, founders Gaudenz Bösch and Nico Klingler reached a milestone in a financing round in October 2023 and are now at the forefront of the global tech industry with artificial intelligence.

The two young entrepreneurs from Schaffhausen, Gaudenz Bösch and Nico Klingler, founded their first company back in 2014 during their studies. They successfully launched their entrepreneurship with intelligent video analytics using their own camera systems. Based in Schaffhausen, they first conquered Switzerland and then ventured onto the international stage thanks to collaborations and support from key players in the tech industry. From their day-to-day business, they developed their company further and achieved a breakthrough with the Viso Suite: "We developed an automated computer vision platform so that we didn't have to keep starting from scratch. Initially mainly for internal use," explains founder Gaudenz Bösch. "The no-code platform makes it possible to create, implement and scale projects more quickly. Instead of several weeks, we only needed a few days to set it up. We developed our Viso Suite from this." Today, the Viso Suite is viso.ai's core offering.

The end-to-end platform makes it possible to integrate cross-platform AI models, hardware and software without code. The Viso Suite is the world's first online tool that enables companies to develop and use computer vision technology to automate their processes - quickly and without high costs.

Successful financing round

Thanks to the platform, viso.ai not only works with well-known companies such as NVIDIA and Samsung, but has also attracted the attention of investors. This year, the company has now reached another milestone: in a financing round, they have received capital of 9.2 million dollars. The well-known lead investor is Accel, which is known for its investments in Facebook, Dropbox, Slack and Spotify, among others. The investment will help to further improve viso.ai's technology and accelerate the company's growth. With its impressive development, viso.ai is setting international standards in the computer vision world and positioning itself as a competitor for international industry giants.
