On 1 July 2011, Suisse Technology Partners AG (Suisse TP) began operations on the RhyTech site in Neuhausen am Rheinfall. The company was the result of a management buy-out from the then company 3A Technology and Management (3ATM, formerly Alusuisse and Alcan). The then management team of Robert Sala, Benedikt Moser and Günter Bergmann, with 36 employees and six trainees, took over a large part of the expertise and the associated laboratory equipment of the former 3ATM. This meant that expertise and jobs were retained in the region. Initially, Suisse TP concentrated mainly on material analyses and component testing for the former 3ATM customers.

In the past 10 years, however, Suisse TP has consistently developed from being predominantly a laboratory service provider to an internationally established technology service provider for demanding material issues as well as for contract research and analysis for the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. More than 1,200 customers and business partners have drawn on Suisse TP's expertise since 2011, actively helping to write the company's success story.
