"Since 2003, Acronis has had its headquarters in Schaffhausen. Because this place is so important to us, our board meetings are always held in Schaffhausen. Therefore, I am here four times a year for a week, and sometimes there are two or three additional meetings with our executives. Or an event that we organize here. So, I am quite often in Schaffhausen," explains Alona Geckler, Chief of Staff.

"I really enjoy being here. I can walk from the hotel through the city to the office and enjoy the fresh air by the Rhine. What I also love is the old town in the evening hours. I like to stroll through the quiet alleys and imagine what life used to be like here."

After the meetings, the Acronis leadership team often goes out for dinner together or takes a trip in the region. "There are very nice restaurants here, pristine landscapes with good wine, and interesting companies with top products. For example, Moser watches, of which I own a model myself – as a beautiful reminder of Schaffhausen," adds Alona. "For my family – and for myself – I always buy special Schaffhausen chocolate."
